Rooms are located on the first and second floors and accessible via the stairs or a small lift.
We have twelve rooms in total over two floors. Nine king rooms and three triple rooms that have a king bed plus an oversized (4ft) single bed.
Our five first floor king rooms all have decorative fireplaces, comfy chairs, pieces of restored period furniture and high ceilings along with all the modern amenities you would expect in a superior bed and breakfast. Apart from not having the fireplace feature, you will find all of our second floor rooms identical in decor and furnishings.
All en-suites have bath with shower over, basin and toilet as well as complimentary luxury toiletries. In two of our first floor king bedrooms, the ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower only and not a bathtub.
All bedrooms enjoy complimentary filter water, tea and coffee, Duck Island toiletries and hairdryers along with flat-screen tv/dvd players, so do feel free to bring your favourite film with you to watch in your the comfort of your room.Click here to view all our available rooms
Breakfast can be enjoyed in our large sunny wood-panelled dining room anytime between 08:00 and 09:30am.
We are proud to say that our main breakfast ingredients are all locally sourced. Our sausages and bacon are supplied by Kent family butcher, J.C. Rook and Sons, our beautiful free-range eggs come from Woodlands Farm in Canterbury and our delicious jams and marmalades are hand prepared by The Wooden Spoon Preserving Company, just a few miles away in Wye.
After enjoying your cereal, toast and preserves, yoghurt and juice from the breakfast bar, we would like you to take advantage of our “build your own” cooked breakfast where you can choose any combination, and amount, of the classic British breakfast. Sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans – whatever takes your fancy, all freshly cooked to order. Our blackboards will let you know what regular, vegetarian or gluten free options are available daily.
