10to12 Folkestone is a beautiful Victorian house independently owned and operated by Mark and Leigh Nevill, with our excellent local staff.
As a husband and wife team who live and work at 10to12, our emphasis is on personal service to all guests who come and share our home with us. We have 12 spacious ensuite rooms and can accommodate couples, friends, families (with children 12 years and above) as well as golf and corporate groups. Our bedrooms are over two floors and we have a small lift for ease of access. And our lovely breakfasts are plentiful and freshly cooked to order with the focus on locally sourced produce.
We have a sunny West-Facing terrace where you can relax and in the basement of our building we have a real pub, Harvey’s, where we show a variety of sports on our large screen TV’s.
Only an hour train journey from London, Folkestone is a vibrant town and a wonderful base from which to explore the town itself as well as the Kent Coast and the countryside of our beautiful Garden of England. 10to12 is situated 100 metres from The Leas in a town centre location and a short stroll will take you down to the Creative Quarter and Harbour Arm. In the Creative Quarter, the Old High Street will charm you with a whole range of independent bohemian shops and galleries along with excellent restaurants and coffee shops. You can also hire a bicycle here to enjoy a ride along the glorious coastline. At the Harbour Arm and on the beachfront there are further restaurants, restaurants and bars. Here you will find plenty to do with a varied mix of live music during the summer months and the huge outdoor screen showing films.
Folkestone has two fantastic theatres, plenty of green parkland with our award winning Leas Coastal Park, not to mention two beautiful beaches, Sunny Sands and Mermaid Beach.
Within a 40minute drive from our door, we have four championship links golf courses - Littlestone, Princes, Royal Cinque Ports and Royal St. George's. If your holiday plans incorporate a trip to Europe, then the short 10 minute journey takes you to the Eurotunnel terminal while a 20 minute car journey will take you to the Port of Dover.
